Artist Lectures: On 3D Sensing and Visualization

Friday afternoon of ART && CODE features brief lecture presentations by eight leading international artist/designers with significant bodies of work in interaction and visualization, many of whom are also directing the ART && CODE workshops. After a break, our Arts Keynote lecture is presented by renowned media archaeologist Erkki Huhtamo, who puts the technical and artistic problems of 3D representation in a two-century perspective.

Then, on Saturday at 4:30pm in the Kresge Theater (CFA), don’t miss “The History, Present and Future of Kinect“, our TECH KEYNOTE, presented by Stewart Tansley (Microsoft Research) and Arnold Blinn (Microsoft Studios).
