Christopher Manzione is an artist and curator whose work questions an object’s origin and presence in a world of ubiquitous digital and network technologies. He most recently curated
Space Between the Skies at New York’s Apexart. Manzione also pioneered mobile AR art platforms by founding the Virtual Public Art Project (2010), an organization that used augmented reality to produce original artist works in public space. Manzione was a founding member of Manifest.AR, an international artists’ collective working with emergent forms of augmented reality as interventionist public art.

He has shown nationally and internationally at venues such as the Boston ICA, Abington Arts Center, Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, the Surry Hills Festival in Melbourne, and Gurzenich Koln Museum in Cologne. He is currently Assistant Professor
in Visual Arts and Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology.
